SMS 1111 recharge is a simple and easy way to recharge your prepaid phone.

Whether you are on the beach or at a party - you can recharge any prepaid phone (Digicel or Flow/Chippie) with a simple SMS message. Just send a FREE SMS message to 1111 and your phone is recharged instantaneously.

Register your Bankomatiko debit card (Maestro) at any MCB Bankomatiko ATM, see instructions below. Once registered, you can recharge your own phone or someone else’s phone, even a prepaid land line by sending a free SMS message to the number 1111.

SMS 1111 recharge allows you to recharge your cellular phone by sending an SMS to MCB.

How to register for the SMS 1111 recharge service?

Maestro Bankomatiko card holders can register for this service at any MCB Bankomatiko ATM using the following function on the ATM.

Choose Phone Recharge from the main options screen
Choose SMS Registration
Choose your telephone service provider (Digicel or UTS)
Enter your prepaid telephone number.
Choose if you would like to recharge other phones
You will then receive a registration receipt from the Bankomatiko.

Once the process has been completed, you will receive an SMS message confirming your registration. In this message, you will also receive your SMS PassCode. This PassCode is needed to send recharge requests. Keep this code in a safe place. You also receive basic recharge instructions.

How to recharge your own phone?

To recharge your cellular phone, send an SMS message from the registered phone with the recharge command to the SMS number 1111.

Send the following "SMS" recharge command to 1111:
RC<space>PassCode<space>Amount

Example: To recharge NAf. 10.= with PassCode 1234 simply send the following message to 1111: RC 1234 10

Your cellular phone is recharged immediately for the specified amount. You will receive a message from your telephone service provider confirming the amount that has been added to your phone.

The minimum amount accepted for SMS recharging is NAf. 10.= Your MCB account will be debited and your prepaid phone credited for the requested recharge amount.

Important note: Although the SMS 1111 recharge service is free of charge your phone must have at least NAf. 0.01 on it, for the SMS to be sent.

How to recharge other phones?

To recharge another phone (cellular or prepaid land line), send an SMS from the registered phone with the recharge command to the SMS recharge number 1111.

Send the following "SMS" recharge command to 1111:
RC<space>PassCode<space>Amount
<space>OtherPhoneNumber

Example: To recharge phone number 1234567 with NAf. 10.= and PassCode 1234 simply send the following message to 1111: RC 1234 10 1234567

The other phone is recharged immediately for the specified amount. You will receive a message confirming the amount that has been added to the other phone. If the other phone is a cellular phone, it will receive a message from the telephone service provider confirming that the amount that has been added to the phone.

How to cancel the SMS 1111 recharge service?

You can cancel the SMS 1111 recharge service at any time via any MCB Bankomatiko ATM using the following function on the ATM.

Choose Phone Recharge from the main options screen
Choose SMS Registration
Choose Cancel SMS Recharge
Choose your telephone service provider
Enter your cellular telephone number
You will then receive a cancellation receipt from the Bankomatiko.

Once the process has been completed, you will receive an SMS message confirming your cancellation.

If you would like to setup SMS 1111 recharge again, simple re-register at any MCB Bankomatiko ATM.

When you have lost your phone

In case of a lost or stolen phone, please cancel the SMS 1111 recharge service at any MCB Bankomatiko ATM. The SMS 1111 recharge service will be disabled until you re-register your phone.

Important Safety Precautions For SMS Recharging

Here are some safety tips to avoid misuse of the SMS Recharge service.

Please ensure your PassCode is kept in a safe place at all times.
Delete the message containing the PassCode.
Delete your Sent Messages with the request to recharge your phone.
